About the Author
Nancy Kruger serves as Minister of Outreach at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Macomb, Michigan.
Born and raised in the Detroit area, she is a graduate of Lutheran Bible Institute, Seattle, Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cross Cultural Ministry, and an emphasis in Urban Ministry. Nancy has served as a short-term missionary in Amsterdam, Holland (1987), Bacolod City, Negros/Philippines (1989), Tanzania, Africa (1991), and a longer term assignment in Chiclayo, Peru from 1994-95. In 1996, she was certified through the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod as a Church Planter, and served from 1996-98 as Mission Developer/Church Planter in Southfield, Michigan for New Life Christian Fellowship-LCMS. Nancy has been involved in evangelism, and outreach activities for many years, and feels especially called to reach out to people who are either unchurched or do not have a church background.
